Biograpthy

Dave began performing live in 1982, with early highlights at the age of thirteen being televised by Channel 4 at Kingston University (Formerly Kingston polytechnic) in front of an audience of 600 people. Since then Dave has performed headlines at some of the UK’s biggest venues with various bands playing original music written/co-written by Dave.

Forty years later Dave is enjoying recreating cover versions of songs and performing them in a duo format with vocalist Loraine Carter.  Lorraine met Dave ten years ago when they were both co-members of various bands, clocking up 100’s or appearances together, before branching out to form their duo act partnership.

Since July 2013, Dave and Lorraine have been performing weekly as a duo act across the UK, including dispersed locations such as Lands End, Torquay, Southampton, Bath, Bristol, Norwich, Coventry, London, Nottingham, Wales (Port Talbot, Cardiff, Swansea), Barnsley and Blackpool.

Lorraine and Dave record their own backing tracks in their own studio ensuring that Lorraine's fine vocals and Dave's classic bass lines /guitar riffs dominate during their live performance.

Lorraine and Dave have more than 400 appearances as a Duo Act including their highly successful Tribute Act “Blondie and Ska” which has performs regularly during the last six years.

When not performing, Lorraine and Dave attend live music events and have had the pleasure to meeting a great number of the legendary musicians and bands that inspire them including Blondie, UB40, Madness, Selector, The Beat, From the Jam, Pink FLoyd, The Chords, The B-52's, The Lambrettas and The Chords.
